Meet Dave Thompson
As an early-identified ADHDer and dyslexic thinker, Dave Thompson grew up navigating systems that often failed to recognize how he worked and learned best. Today, he helps organizations redesign those systems and build better workplaces.
An organizational leader, author, speaker, and strategic advisor, Dave works with Fortune 500 companies, universities, nonprofits, and public sector organizations at the intersection of neuroinclusion, accessibility, workforce strategy, AI, and organizational innovation. He combines lived experience with more than a decade of leadership in neuroinclusive employment, translating complex ideas into practical strategies that improve how people work, learn, and lead.
Dave is the author of Brainstorm: A Guide to Neurodivergent Talent and the Future of Work (Wiley, 2026), a two-time TEDx speaker, and a Co-Chair of the Neurodiversity @ Work Employer Roundtable.
Outside of work, he’s a husband, dad, and former New Yorker who now calls the Nashville area home.

Gen Z will make up about 30% of the U.S. workforce by 2030. 53% of those entering the workforce indicated they were ND. 80% report being less likely to work for a company that lacks support for health issues and neurodiversity. According to Google Trends, searches for the word ‘neurodiversity’ increased by over 2400% between April 2014 and April 2024.
